This new approach to the use of Mat has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me as an Artist. I haven't stopped using the conventional methods, but by expanding my cutting abilities to include more creative uses of the Mat, I have developed mat carving and cutting techniques that are more like play than work. And the results are wonderful!
